​Crown Heights Childcare Collective is a play-based childcare cooperative. A play-based philosophy accepts that young children naturally learn through play at their own pace. Learning is supported through activities, socialization, and by providing ​educational based toys/tools in a nurturing, safe and loving environment. CHCC is community oriented and works to build a community among all families in the collective through parental contributions for future events, resources, and swaps.

Meet the Team!

The Paraisons

Host Family

Evianna used her background in childcare to start Crown Heights Childcare Collective in order for her daughter, Margaux, to learn and socialize when Margaux's daycare shut down in 2020. The Collective is constructed around all things that are important to Evianna such as a love for learning, compassion, and community. 
Margaux is an energetic and determined child. She thrives when she is given roles to help her friends in the collective. She loves sticker placement and anything that has to do with spending time with her daddy!
Just like his daughter, Erick is a social butterfly, and loves the company of others. Erick loves introducing and playing different instruments to the children when he comes home in the evening from work.
